My kitty feels safe in it when we are at the vet and there is no problem getting him to go back in it after his check-ups. It is be used in our speed boat for a place for her to escape and hide from the high winds and wave jumping. It is extremely roomy and very well ventilated. The only thing I wish it had was a section on the top of the carrier to let her pock her head out. However both ends are accessible and it does have a very small zipper on the side for access into the carrier. This carrier is worth the $39.99 I paid for. High quality material and sturdy.
