Customer Reviews:   Read 19 more reviews... Leaky bags   January 3, 2009 These bags are somewhat difficult to replace. Takes a few minutes of wiggling and pushing. This also prevents the sticky tab for sealing the bag from sticking to the opening. Better with a bag   November 23, 2008 I bought this vacuum for my son who lives 10 hours away. He has turned into a neat freak (yes!!!!) and cleans his apartment regularly. I have a bagless vac at home and hate it when it is time to empty it out. It seems I get as much dust out into the house as I do picking it up. This new Hoover vacuum is air tight. When it is time to change bags, it is simple and efficient (no stray dust particles). He changes the bags regularly and buys the hypoallergenic type. Since he has allergies, this vacuum has worked much better for him than the bagless one I had. How do I know? After I would vacuum my house he would always sneeze. He does not sneeze after he uses his. It's lightweight, easy to manuveur, and almost drives itself. We have a medium nap carpet and have our unit set on the highest setting. It's great on pet hair (we have a yellow lab) and does a good job along walls and corners. The bag check port is a nice feature. The cord could be six feet longer and the on/off switch should be foot-operated or on the handle rather than the bag housing. The accessories are o.k., but difficult to use on stairs. Overall, for general cleaning, the unit performs magnificently considering a price under $100. Clean up   July 13, 2008 This vacuum works great. My only complaint is that the front cover that houses the vacuum bag falls off all the time......poorly put together I guess. Anyway, I taped it shut because I don't need to impress anyone and everything is fine now. They hold in my two dogs hair with no problem, helping to keep the carpet nice and clean.
