I bought this item for a gift for Christmas for my grandson. I was setting it up before wrapping with batteries. The screw in the left drum stick was stripped and would not come out to put the batteries in. I called the company hoping they would send me a new left stick. They told me they would have to get back to me. Needless to say I will have to return the whole set and will not have one that works in time for Christmas. I decided to purchase something else and will return this item for a refund.
I wonder how many more sets have screws that won't work right.

A friend had this the other day and it was the most fun I have had in a long time trying to imitate the one before me on the drums. It is really easy and it so much fun and the sound is great.
