Product Description Twilight is an action packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan has always been a little bit different and when her mother sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen, a boy unlike any she's ever met. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for: a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward and Bella do when James, Laurent and Victoria, the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her? This is the first movie from the book series from author Stephanie Meyer. The series are currently some of the most popular books written for young adults, with sales exceeding 50 million copies worldwide since the Twilight debut in 2004 and over 7.7 million copies sold in the U.S. alone. The fourth book in the series, Breaking Dawn, was released on August 2, 2008 and sold over 1.2 million units on the first day.
Album Description Every song on the Twilight soundtrack is featured in the movie. The soundtrack includes `Decode,' an exclusive song from Paramore written specifically for Twilight! 'I chose the title 'Decode' because the song is about the building tension, awkwardness, anger and confusion between Bella and Edward. Bella is the only mind Edward can't read and I feel like that's a big part of the first book and one of the obstacles for them to overcome. It's one added tension that makes the story even better.'-- Hayley Williams / Paramore.

Not too bad for a soundtrack. January 7, 2009 I could put most of the music to somewhere in the movie, which doesn't always happen when I listen to a soundtrack. There are two reasons I gave this four stars instead of five. For one, you can barely understand a word in the song by Rob Pattinson. And two, I wish Bella's Lullaby was longer. The length of the song is about half the length of the other songs, and the mood of the song fits much better with the movie.
Good Price January 6, 2009 Got this for my daughters friend. The price was good, but the Music was fair. Some of the songs are good, but the others are not.
Twilight Soundtrack... January 6, 2009 I will agree with most that this does not seem to "go" with the movies and books. I just get a different feel during my experience. I do understand why they chose these songs. If you look on the Twilight book website (and it may even be in printed in the books somewhere, I don't have mine to look) there is a track listing for each book created by Stephanie Meyer. Most of these songs are on there, hence why they were chosen. These were songs that she listened to while writing and were her inspiration. The only song I don't justify is the lullaby. It is horrific and not even close to anything good for Bella or movie music in general. It lacks everything. I wouldn't even put it in some other movie as just music. I am pretty sure a 2 year old could do better. Also Paramore and Evanessence don't even sing the same type of music so I don't know where that came from. I am hoping the next time around though they create something a little more mood setting, but like I said I understand where they are coming from and respect that.
Great sountrack January 6, 2009 I purchased these to give as gifts, but after hearing it, I had to keep one for myself. Great item.
better that you think January 6, 2009 This is better than the typical movie soundtrack. The songs are diverse and can even be used for backround music.
