The smell is strong, but not strong enough to make me get a headache. The smell fades fairly quickly (in about 4o minutes) but it is very simple to apply and smell very pretty all over again. I ordered the malibu lemon blossom one. It smells very lemonn-like but also a little bit flowery. Easy to apply and travel with. I pop it in my purse every day. Gardenia is my favorite, but malibu lemon is a close second with a citrusy-floral scent. The scent is strongest for the first 1/2 hour and then fades to subtley. I reapply every few hours to give myself a treat. But this is the best perfume!
